Well.
With the wallet Luna nicked for us, I've managed to.. aquire some funds. My hacking skills arn't the best, but they get the job done. I've booked us into a hotel for the moment, and have ordered a laptop via the internet. Hopefully it will come soon, and I'll be able to set it up easily.
This is getting far, far too familar. I miss yelling at Une about her ulcers. :(

So.
I appear to have aquired a) talking, inteligent cat name of Luna as traveling companion b) a wallet, off a tourist by way of Luna c) internet access by way of wallet and an internet cafe.

Also, Luna has confirmed my theory that this is some sort of time-warp or alternete universe. She has come from another universe herself- unless the colonists on the Moon have been finding remains of an ancient Moon Kingdom and haven't told anyone, of course. There is a groups of us displaced travelers, too.

Must be off- cafe employees hastling Luna.

Oh my. This is London. But... not London. There should be a Tube station somewhere around here, I remember from a flying visit with Une, but when I asked a vendor, she looked at me like I was crazy and said that there was no such thing. And if this is London, why is the technology so antiquated? I could understand some, most civilans don't have the same resorces as the Preventers, and with the war... Well. Any war leads to a slowdown in non-warfare production.

Egads, I never thought I'd be wishing for a field mission. But with this latest influx of newbies, I find myself wishing for the comparative peace of being in the field- in the field there is something to shoot back against, at least! I swear, this latest batch of new recruits is even more clumsy then normal. I have 6 of them in the infirmary at the moment- just let out a batch; 4 broken ribs, 3 broken arms and one head injury. Oh, and multiple minor cuts and bruises. They even took out an instructor last week. What's that quote? "Nothing as dangerous as an amateur", ever so true.
I never thought that this would be the price of bigger office space... This is my first batch of recruits since I took Une's offer, and came out here to the main training base in Colorado.

But Colorado is wonderfully lovely. When I'm not occupied by work, I love to go hiking through the mountains.
